Therapy will help you discover your true self and change old negative thoughts and behaviours.

In order to keep my approach to therapy innovative and original, I use an integrative approach blending Clinical Hypnotherapy, Counselling, EFT and NLP.

Which techniques are used depends purely on your personality and specific circumstances.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a safe way of causing a deep shift of consciousness. In this relaxed state of calm concentration, we can interact with the subconscious, where deep rooted worries can be discovered and resolved. The process is not often what you expect it might be due to the portrayal of hypnosis in the media. My style of hypnotherapy is usually interactive, using symbols and the imagination to represent the parts of your mind and body, which are causing tension. Suggestion therapy, which creates the desired concept in the subconscious mind and Regression therapy, which involves releasing emotional conflicts from childhood , are also sometimes used in hypnosis.

Counselling

Counselling is a talking based therapy helping you explore feelings, which are often unwanted and confusing. This allows you to understand in more depth why you feel and act as you do. Over time increased knowledge and understanding can help you develop a better relationship with yourself and the way you interact with your outside world. These old behaviours will be challenged, where I will be actively involved in working out how to solve the problems.

NLP

NLP is a dynamic, motivating and active method to rapidly change self limiting thoughts and behaviours. It is actually a study of excellence. Using a range of techniques I can help you identify what is holding you back and what we need to do to get you out of a negative cycle in order to excel and succeed in life.

EFT

Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT) is a gentle method of treating psychological ailments by tapping acupuncture points, while focussing on that ailment to balance the body's energy system. EFT works on the basis that the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system.When a person has a distressing memory, this causes a disruption to the body's energy system, which then leads to a negative emotion.This powerful approach can help clear any emotional blocks at a deep cellular level.

Therapy requires the client to have an open mind and be willing to challenge themselves.
