Analytical therapy
Hypnoanalysis is the perfect therapy for the more deep-rooted problems. This
attempts to remove the underlying or originating cause of the symptom.
Once this has been found and worked through, the problem or issue will dissolve.
It can be extremely effective for:
- Fears and Phobias.
- Social Phobias.
- Weight control.
- Relationship difficulties.
- Emotional problems.
- Guilt/shame.
- Unhappiness.
- Psychosexual problems.
- Sleep difficulties.
- Panic Attacks.
- Anxiety related disorders.
- Pain relief.
Hypnoanalysis allows us to discover when and why your symptom started in the
first place.
Symptoms usually start when the subconscious mind represses uncomfortable feelings. Often this happens when we experience these emotions as children, as at this point we do not have enough life experience to cope with the problem then.
The subconscious did a very clever thing and developed this symptom to let you avoid
confronting whatever the uncomfortable situation was for a second time. Once
we find the originating cause of the symptom, these bad feelings can be
discharged, allowing you to start to feel better.
There are two different styles of analytical therapy: regression to cause
and free association.
Regression to cause seeks to follow a specific memory
path down to the first time the symptom pattern was experienced. It works well with clients who suffer from one isolated symptom. The emotional conflicts can then be worked through so that the negative emotions can be
released.
Free association seeks to achieve this same release of repression
but taking a wider area of the client's life (usually up to the age of
sixteen), thus dealing with any other problems the client may be experiencing
as well as resolving their main symptom.
These negative emotional processes are now removed so they can no longer have an effect upon your adult life.
Therapy usually lasts between 6-12 sessions.
