Self confidence
There can be many reasons for lack of confidence and low self-esteem.
It maybe that is just effects one area of your life and there is just one
specific area where you would like to boost your confidence, e.g. public speaking
or talking to members of the opposite sex.
Or it may be that it affects more than one area and actually interferes with
your daily activities and what you want to achieve in life.
In this case it often likely that these problems originated from your childhood, even though
they may not have appeared until later life. Perhaps you were criticised or
embarrassed by a parent, relative, teacher or someone else at school.
What can affect our confidence?
There are so many areas that can affect our confidence, e.g. work (feeling
under pressure, bad relationship with boss, disliking career), relationship
problems (with partner, parents, siblings or friends), and poor lifestyle,
weight issues, addictions, trauma or abuse, poor performance, stress or
rejection.
How can therapy help?
Therapy can be great for boosting confidence.
As this is quite a complex issue, there is not just 'one fits all' type therapy so I will use a variety of therapeutic
techniques, including Suggestion therapy and Analytical therapy depending on
your specific circumstance, the extremity and the frequency of the problem
