The mind and body are one; they are interwoven. Often our emotions or negative beliefs cause stress on our bodies, resulting in symptoms. These thought processes usually reside in our subconscious.
The subconscious is the emotional and creative part of our mind, which acts
as our driving force and determines the way we behave and respond to others.
Although this is difficult to imagine, this part of our mind does not
actually think, as it is without reason or logic. It communicates with us via
feelings, which decide our reactions.
The main objective of the subconscious is survival. However, sometimes it can
make mistakes as to what actually is a threat to survival and this is where
problems or symptoms can arise.
Using an integrative approach to therapy, I look at the whole person and not just the symptom.
The partnership between therapist and client is a nurturing and confidential relationship, allowing the client to both challenge themselves and unearth inner qualities.
Using a mixture of hypnotherapy, counselling skills, EFT, coaching and NLP, together we work to replace existing negative patterns with new positive ones, allowing the mind and body to communicate once more.
It is often a period of self discovery where you become aware of how negative beliefs were previously restricting your life, allowing you to relearn thought processes and discover inner resources.
I use knowledge and intuition to adapt to your personal needs, facilitating recovery and improvements.
